Key Responsabilities :
As part of our company’s growth, we are preparing and submitting the frequency coordination and spectrum allocation application to the French National Frequency Agency (ANFR), as well as the authorization request under the French Space Operations Act (LOS) to CNES.
The successful candidate will join the Regulatory Compliance team and, under supervision, manage the preparation and submission of these regulatory files from start to finish.
- Prepare the frequency application file for ANFR by collecting the required technical information (frequency bands, link budgets, power levels, spectral occupancy), formatting the documentation, and coordinating exchanges with the agency.
- Prepare the authorization application under the French Space Operations Act (LOS) for CNES, including technical documentation, safety and security information, spacecraft registration, and operator liability insurance documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including CNES, ANFR, and, where applicable, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
- Monitor regulatory deadlines and maintain the submission schedule in line with the overall program timeline.
- Conduct regulatory monitoring on updates to the French Space Operations Act, ANFR procedures, and applicable ITU recommendations for space systems.
- Contribute to the preparation of executive summaries and presentations for Program Management.
About you
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) with a specialization in Space Engineering and/or Telecommunications, combined with an interest in regulatory affairs (e.g. ISAE-SUPAERO, Télécom Paris, ENAC, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of spectrum management, frequency allocation, and ITU coordination for space systems would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to prepare structured, comprehensive regulatory documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple institutional stakeholders (CNES, ANFR).
- Professional level of English is desirable for ITU interactions and international technical documentation.
- Previous experience (internship or final-year project) involving space or telecommunications regulatory matters would be a strong asset but is not essential.
- Familiarity—even at an academic level—with the French Space Operations Act (2008) and its implementing decree would be considered a plus.
Professional proficiency in both French and English.
