The activities will include :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Becoming familiar with mission analysis concepts, our simulation library developed in MATLAB, as well as specialized software such as STK (Systems Tool Kit, Ansys).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve and validate existing algorithms used to simulate the various aspects of our mission, from satellite subsystems (power, data, propulsion, etc.) to mission planning strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design, develop, test, validate, and integrate new features into the simulation library.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gain experience with software development best practices and contribute to ensuring the quality of the code and the reliability of the results produced.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the trade-off studies and analyses carried out by the team as part of the development of our GEN2 methane observation satellite.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will work directly with the Mission Analysis &amp; Systems Engineering team and contribute to studies directly supporting the design and development of our future space missions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-purple-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5\">About you<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking for a Master\u2019s\/MSc student (or equivalent) in aerospace engineering for a 6-month internship. Ideally, you have some knowledge of space systems and a strong interest in software development, modelling, and algorithm development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following skills will be particularly appreciated :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Basic knowledge of flight dynamics, mission analysis, and\/or mission planning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with MATLAB and version control tools such as Git.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good modelling and simulation skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of data processing and statistical analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full professional proficiency in either French or English is required for the internship.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Softskills : teamwork, open-minded, autonomous<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Studies show that women and minorities often hesitate to apply unless they meet all the criteria.
